Olympic gold medalist and Pakistan’s star javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem has decided to undergo training abroad as he prepares for upcoming international competitions. According to sources, Nadeem will not compete in the Lausanne Diamond League on August 21, despite his name being included in the event’s entry list.
Sources said Nadeem will now train in South Africa, where he has previously completed two training camps. He is expected to travel to Africa on the first available flight once his visa is issued.
Following his training, Nadeem will compete at the World Athletics Ultimate Championship, scheduled to be held in Budapest, Hungary, from September 6 to 14. He will then represent Pakistan at the Asian Games, with expectations high for another strong performance from the Olympic champion.
