The 68th death anniversary of Major Tufail Muhammad Shaheed Nishan-e-Haider is being observed today.
The Pakistan Armed Forces, Field Marshal, Naval Chief and Air Chief have paid tribute to Major Tufail Muhammad Shaheed and remembered his bravery and sacrifice for the country.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Major Tufail Muhammad showed extraordinary courage and determination while leading an operation against the enemy.
Despite suffering serious injuries, Major Tufail continued fighting with great courage and remained determined to complete his mission. His bravery helped ensure the successful completion of the operation.
In recognition of his exceptional bravery and great sacrifice, Major Tufail Muhammad was awarded Pakistan’s highest military honour, Nishan-e-Haider.
His courage, patriotism and lasting sacrifice continue to inspire generations. His legacy remains a source of inspiration for all those serving to protect Pakistan.
