Ten terrorists belonging to the Indian-sponsored Fitna Al-Khwarij were killed in two separate security operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on August 6, 2026, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
According to the statement, the first encounter took place in the general area of Azam Warsak, South Waziristan District, where a group of terrorists belonging to Fitna Al-Khwarij attempted to attack security forces’ check posts. The attack was effectively thwarted by security forces, and during the ensuing exchange of fire, eight terrorists were neutralized through effective and precise engagements.
In another encounter in Dir District, security forces successfully eliminated two more terrorists.
The ISPR stated that weapons and ammunition were recovered from the killed terrorists, who were involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area.
Sanitization operations are being conducted to eliminate any remaining terrorists found in the area. The security forces and law enforcement agencies are continuing their counter-terrorism campaign under the “Azm-e-Istehkam” initiative, approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan.
The ISPR reiterated that Pakistan’s security forces remain committed to eliminating the menace of foreign-sponsored terrorism and restoring lasting peace and stability across the country.
