Polling has concluded for the 12 refugee constituencies in the second phase of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir legislative elections, while voting in the eight constituencies of the Muzaffarabad Division will continue until 6:00 p.m.
According to the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Election Commission, polling hours in the Muzaffarabad Division were extended by one hour due to the high voter turnout. The commission said the extension was aimed at ensuring that all eligible voters have sufficient time to cast their ballots.
The Election Commission stated that voters in the Muzaffarabad Division can exercise their right to vote until 6:00 p.m., while polling has officially ended in all other constituencies as scheduled.
