The initial medical report in the Mir Raza case has revealed signs of physical assault on his body, according to sources. The report follows a second post-mortem examination conducted after questions were raised over the circumstances surrounding the young Karachi trader’s death.
Sources said responses to all 14 points raised by the police surgeon have been received. According to the preliminary findings, Mir Raza sustained a gunshot wound to the back of his body. The medical board is continuing its examination, while further forensic analysis is being carried out to establish the exact circumstances of his death.
The findings are expected to form an important part of the ongoing investigation.
