Iranian military spokesperson Brigadier General Mohammad Akraminia has said that Iran’s armed forces have further strengthened their combat capabilities and are fully prepared to respond effectively to any potential threats.
In a statement, Brigadier General Akraminia said that Iran’s military continues to enhance its operational readiness and improve its battlefield capabilities. He added that the country is focusing on domestic defense production while incorporating advanced military equipment and upgrading weapons systems according to operational requirements.
The Iranian military spokesperson stated that Iran’s defense preparedness is being continuously improved to ensure a rapid and effective response to any possible threat. He said that the Iranian armed forces have the capability to deal with different scenarios and security challenges.
Brigadier General Akraminia further said that as long as the United States continues what he described as attacks on Iran’s coastal areas and infrastructure, Iran’s retaliatory actions will also continue.
Meanwhile, US Vice President JD Vance said Washington would use military, economic, and diplomatic tools to bring an end to the ongoing dispute with Iran.
In an interview with Fox News, Vance said negotiations with Iran remain difficult because of what he described as divisions within the Iranian leadership. According to him, one faction seeks an end to the conflict, while another wants to maintain confrontation.
Vance said that the United States must pursue a strategy based on its national interests and work toward achieving the best possible outcome through all available options.
The latest statements come amid continued tensions between Iran and the United States, with both sides emphasizing their readiness while keeping diplomatic channels under discussion.
